Tootle and the Hope Diamond

I recently had the pleasure of accompanying Tootle and her fellow first graders on a field trip to the Natural History Museum. The three kids that I escorted through the museum weren't very interested in the dinosaurs but they loved the gems as well as animal skeletons and fossils of any type (a dinosaur egg and fossilized alligator poop that they could touch were extremely popular).
